Fa Qi Men is an evolved form of Qi Men Dun Jia, a sophisticated branch of Chinese metaphysics, originally designed for military strategy but now adapted for personal and business success. About Qi Men Dun Jia (奇门遁甲）
QMDJ had suddenly become a recent hype in the metaphysics community everyone seems to be learning QMDJ and interpretation of the charts.
In the past there are three most treasured teachings of metaphysic which the ancients state “a person proficient in the three teachings namely: Qi Men Dun Jia, Tai Yi Shen Shu, and Da Liu Ren are immortals/gods”, they know the outcome of events in advance, can change destiny and mitigate disasters.
Nowadays most QMDJ courses are taught to interpret the outcome of an event ie business ventures, relationships, job interview or biding of projects. Some practitioners would even advice people to move from a specific auspicious direction towards the location of the meeting. Scheduling an appointment date and auspicious time or sit facing a certain direction during a meeting or examination which may not be possible at times. There is no solution for conventional QMDJ.
However for Spiritual Qi Men (法奇门遁甲) we can alter the outcome by using the Spiritual aspect of QMDJ. By utilising specific Talisman (符), mantras (咒), Lamp lighting (灯阵), Formation (布局) and Rituals.
THE FOUR SCHOOL OF QI MEN DUN JIA
- FA QI MEN DUN JIA – Using Talismans and Spiritual forces associated with Taoism for the benefit of practitioner.
- SAN YUAN QI MEN DUN JIA – Widely practiced and disseminated nowadays.
- FEI KUNG XIAO QI MEN DUN JIA – Simplified and convenient form of QI MEN.
- QIN DUN (Astrological form) – Limited information available.
The problem with most student learning QMDJ they were taught the fundamentals to interpret charts but not given the proper solutions. We need to trace back to the history how the actual QMDJ was culminated and used. Originally QMDJ was used in spiritual warfare based on the legend of Yellow Emperor（黄帝）and Chi You （蚩尤 ). Chi You were described as a powerful tyrant together with his brothers were invincible , Chiyou knows the constellations and the ancients spells for calling upon the weather. For example, he called upon a fog to surround Huangdi and his soldiers during the Battle of Zhuolu.
Huang Di prayed to the heavens and ask for divine intervention to be victorious. Soon the heaven sent The Ninth Heaven Mysterious Lady (九天玄女) to impart a sacred text The Six Jia Heavenly Scripture (六甲天书) which comprise of QMDJ, summoning the Liu Ding Liu Jia Spiritual Armies and military strategies. Huang Di successfully defeated Chi You with this sacred wisdom. And latter these proficient in using QMDJ are well known ie. Jiang Ziya, Zhugeliang, Liu Bowen.
The ancient masters actually practise the Spiritual Qi Men Dun Jia, the original QMDJ which comprise of expedient ways to to resolve and mitigate any inauspiciousness in the QiMen chart. These ways involved using lamp lighting offering to dipper stars, star stepping, specific talisman The Three Mysterious Talisman (三奇符), The Nine Stars Eight Doors Talismans (九星八门符), The Heavenly and Earthly Branch Talismans (天干地支符咒).
These secret talismans are used to counter and mitigate the inauspicious areas in the chart; The four harms (四害）；
The Void/Emptiness (空亡), Entering Tomb (入墓), Torture (击刑) and Forced Door (门迫).
These sacred talismans from the （六甲天书）are only known to a small minority of practitioners who are sworn to secrecy and only revealed to initiated in door disciples.
The book itself is written in cryptic messages only practitioners with the lineage oral transmission would understand and know how to utilise the talisman.
